Thanks for visiting my website.

I spend many, many hours producing this site. Why? Because I see a need and have the ability to fill it. Simple as that. Helping each other is the key to a successful society, wouldn't you say?

Because I saw otherwise intelligent people making the same mistakes over and over and over, I had been trying to think of a way to get them to be more careful. Why was it my business? A safety man I know says safety is everyone's business. Unfortunately, many drivers feel offended when you tell them you think they are asking for a crash. In fact, a few may even want to poke you in your nose if you stick it in their business. So, my friend and I came up with the idea to have a website where truckers could see images of crashes. Ya, that's the ticket! A website! What a brilliant idea, right? For sure, tailgating and speeding will now be a thing of the past!

Not quite, but who knows? I have received email from safety professionals, truckers and Joe-Four-Wheelers thanking me for the reminder and assuring me the website has made a difference.

I don't include any images of blood and guts because it's just distracting from the message. I'm sure you will agree that the images of those ruined vehicles will be enough to give you the idea.

However, Bandwidth is not cheap. And, there are a lot of you visiting every day from all over the world. (Hello, WORLD!)

Unfortunately, images take up a lot of space and I have to pay for them to be served up on your computer screen.

So, here comes the begging!

If there was something you found here at TCDC that you thought was interesting or helpful, maybe you would consider helping me pay for the bandwidth? Just a couple of bucks, OK? C'mon, I saw you give that much to the guy holding a cardboard sign. Anyway, to help, you can click on the button just above my ugly mug. Thanks!

I do not allow paid ads on the site because I don't want any distractions from the point. I do not consider this site as a commercial enterprise, but as a public service that just may help save lives. It's just one of the things I do to promote highway safety.
